Today was Tammi's birthday! We woke up early and made her banana's and nutella in the shape of a heart and a 19. It was so funny to see her surprised! Then we got dressed to go surfing. Unfortunately, the guys didn't tell us, but they couldn't find a ride down to SDA to pick us up, or to the ocean to go surfing. After making numerous phone calls, we finally got Nelson to come and pick us up to go to PMA. While we were waiting we went out to lunch to celebrate Tammi's birthday with Chris and Ben who were already at SDA playing basketball. They had to pay $10 to get there! Lunch was great and we surprised her with cake and sang to her again! A whole meal for $5 :] and you can get a GIANT plate of fried rice for $3. How amazing is that!
We were supposed to go hiking to the water, but when we got to PMA most of the guys were already gone! We decided to hang around and talk and just had a relaxing afternoon. I tried on some of the guys huge clothes and we took lots of pictures. I also had quite a few good conversations with different people. Nelson came back at 6 and took us back to Koror and took some guys also so we could get dinner and the guys could go shopping. Then it was lesson plan time. I did two weeks this time and it only took an hour! I'm already faster and it's only my second time! I think doing multiple weeks at a time is the way to go! It's great knowing that I'm getting faster! I also wrote letters to Barbara, Jeanine's mom, Eunice and Jeff, my neighbor, and my host family. I just wanted to thank them for everything so far. My host family has done SO much and I really appreciate them. Eunice and Jeff took me to the ER last week and Barbara checked on me every day! The people here are just so sweet!
i love you :)
ReplyDeletei just wanted to let you know that.
